Galaxy Beam
Mainly based on the arcade game Space Zap, Galaxy Beam is a TIC-80 shoot-em-up in which each directional key fires a beam in that arrow's direction.
----------
Gameplay:
The game is endless and high-score based. It's divided in "waves", which have five levels each. The player can get to the next level by shooting a certain amount of aliens, which increases with every wave. When the next wave is reached, the game speed resets. There are two types of enemies: the red alien (which is beaten if shot once) and the green alien (which is beaten if shot twice). If an enemy hits the player, one of the four "beam generators" is lost. If all beam generators are lost, it's game over!

Controls:
A (Z on the keyboard) - start/pause/turn music on and off
D-pad/arrow keys - shoot beam/switch between menu options

How did you go from the .tic file to running like that on your itch.io page?
I could answer that. Tic80 has a web export for the games. All you do is upload the html5 version. I did it with one of my games made with copper cube. It's actually pretty easy to do. Let me know if you have further questions.
